Left San Pedro High School early 70's and attended Crenshaw High School, Los Angeles, California and graduated 1973. Occupation: POS at Ralphs Hobbies: Reading, taking pictures, travel, scrapbooking Status: Married Children: 1 Junior High: Dodson Elementary: Park Western Comments: I have worked in the grocery business for 37 years. Would love to retire but most of my years are part time. I've been married to my bestfriend for 27 yrs. Have a beautiful daughter (25) who is working on her masters. Two fun beautiful dogs. Married 31 years to Elizabeth whom I met while working at Hughes Aircraft - El Segundo. Lived in Wyoming 5 years, returned and found job at Wilmington oil refinery for last 25 years. Occupation: Police Officer Hobbies: Horseback riding, working on my ranch, bowling, spending time with my family Status: Married Children: 3 Grandchildren: 2 Junior High: Dodson Elementary: Crestwood Comments: I moved to Israel in 1975 and spent 2 years in the Israeli Army and then 8 years in the Israeli Police Dept. I have 2 boys that still live in Israel with my first wife. I returned to CA in 1985 and worked at South Gate PD and then Retired out of the Anaheim PD. I remarried and have a wonderful 21 year old son who is in college and a Tornado chaser. Moved to Missouri to retire but couldnt do it. Was hired as Chief of Police for a small town and did that for almost 3 years. I am currently a Police Officer for a small city near Springfield Mo. I have a small horse ranch with 6 horses, 10 pigmy goats and 2 very large Newfoundland dogs. My wife and I are looking forward to being at the reunion in July. Traveled to Ireland last year (2011). Fell in love with my husband and the area. Still working, wishing we could retire. Enjoying life, we go out with friends, attend music festivals, dance, and laugh a lot. Our children and grandchildren live near by, so we feel blessed. I am currenly working living in Sacramento Ca. I am enjoying life and and doing well. In 2007, my husband of over 26 years passed away, so on my own now (with my son John of course. He will be 30 in August 2011). Bumpy ride with the economy in this business, but working my way back up now. However, can't stay still so I am looking for part-time work while I continue my volunteer work in the Pro-life movement. After graduating, married and had 2 sons, some years in Oregon, divorce, re-marry, had my daughter, now 23. Divorce-remarry and the third time is a charm, Ron and I married for 11 years, together for 17 years. Maybe vote me most married? Active in our church, both of us volunteering with Lutheran Cursillo community. One granddaughter, 17 months old. Ron's 2 kids and my three make five! All grown and out of the house, so we will spend a few more years in Huntington Beach and retire, maybe Arizona, maybe Hawaii, our home away from home. Married to the love of my life and looking forward to many activities after my working life which include continuing to run our Hood to Coast running team, playing tournament table tennis, and of course, my wife's honey do lists. Moved to Oregon in 1979 and only go back to visit. Dad and Mom still live in South Shores and still keep in contact with a few good friends from high school. Looking forward to the 40th reunion. Went to Harbor College one semester before entering court reporting college. Worked in deposition field 5 years, in criminal court 6. Was sometimes in San Pedro criminal court, where it was fun to see former classmates(employed, not shackled) who are probably still there, right? You know who you are. Married Bill Rosen in 1987, moved to Long Beach, had our 3 kiddos. Moved to Washington in 1993. Home schooled our kids through 6th grade; then went to work for the school district full time. Now part time. Occupation: Auditor Hobbies: Reading, crossword puzzles, walking, classic car shows, and anything my kids are into. Occupation: Pet Store Owner Hobbies: Animals Status: Relationship Junior High: Dana Elementary: White Point Comments: Basically, after years of working in different fields, usually involved with animals... I sell fish, reptiles and crickets for a living. I was married once (the Burnett name) but that was a long time ago and have been with Jim Anderson for 17 years.. we may marry some day, we'll see. Occupation: Conductor - Union Pacific Railroad Hobbies: Playing music, RC planes and helicopters Status: Married Comments: USAF 75-79 stationed in Philippines then Frankfurt Germany. Stayed on in Frankfurt as A&P Mechanic for TransAmerica Airlines till 1982 and finally moved back to the USA. Ski bum lift operator in Vail Colorado till 1984, went on US tour with my band till 1986 and stayed in Craig Alaska as commercial diver/fisherman for 3 years. Took a trip to Maui for Scuba Instructor course in 1989 and lived there as a scuba guide until 1994. Went back and forth between Maui and Ketchikan Alaska seasonally until 1997. Moved to Depoe Bay Oregon and ran a fishing/whale watch boat. 2001-2005 skippered tour boat in Laughlin, Nevada. Next was back to Seward Alaska as charter skipper 2006 fishing season. Was hired by Union Pacific RR in Nov 2006 and remain there as a freight conductor out of Eugene, Oregon. I live in Corvallis, Oregon with my wife of 27yrs, content not to travel anymore and stay put. Never had any children unfortunately but that's life. Have worked for the Department of Defense 36 years and can retire any day, which is a great feeling. Left Pedro in 1992 and now live in Belmont Shore (Long Beach) which I really enjoy but miss the familiarity of home (Pedro). Have the opportunity to travel a lot for work and have done many overseas assignments in Europe. And I still have my '68 blue bug which I have had since I was 15; actually while in school I was known mostly because I had a car!!! Have 3 grown kids who gave me 3 fabulous kids-in-law and 4 amazing grandkids. Moved to San Luis Obispo in 1996. Worked as a police dispatcher and crime scene tech for several years and am now working in the Office of the Provost at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. We live a quiet, peaceful life in SLO with our family and friends. |
